Hi Jill – No problems – happy to bring enlightenment to a former colony 🙂
My family and I was out in Washington area last year. Arrived at the airport jet lagged etc. Cuing for immigration and all – my eldest daughter (14) accidentally stepped over the yellow line – just past the immigration official, side arm and all. He shouted across “get back Alien” – To which she replied curtly I not Alien I’m British.
Immigration official – had the last laugh though – as she passed him he replied “have a nice time in the colony”
Sorry of on a tangent there!
