I’m posting these photos to show you how far you can go with MDF signs, these were designed, made & fitted by a mate, Paul Rafferty from Ivy Designs, the backing boards have been sandblasted to give the textured effect, the main title letters have been produced on a 3D router table and then gilded and the panda Paul handcarved from Sign Foam and no he’s not american but lives near Brigg in north Lincolnshire. Damn good stuff eh!

Top job – I’ve looked at some of the American sites concentrating on this foam work – some mega signs out there- but I bet the restaurant will get sick of Panda curry jokes!

    Gobsmacking

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of signfoam, and an idea of pricing?

I’m assuming it’s a bit more specialist than just a great thick lump of foamex, or is it?

I’d love to get some in to have a play with 😉

    Cheers,
    Andy
