Hi all,
seeing as i had nothing to do and the wife had gone out shopping i decided to have a try at one of Rob’s Demo’s

Found it pretty straightforward, only problem is the drying time between applications.
The spray i used is commonly available and was only £3 a tin. There was no problem rubbing a finger over the paint once dry, however touching it with anything sharp i.e. finger nail and it scratched straight through.

I would like to get an air brush for doing more detailed effects

Been doing this for a few years now and never had any problems with it lifting, sure livens up crappy ol vinyl. Heres one I did about 18 months ago. I notice you have used Plasti cote, not very good, I use Humbrol enamel and dont have any problems with adhesion. Others use screen inks through an air brush but i find the rattle cans convenient.
