Safety Ruler recommendations
Hi All
I need to replace my safety ruler as it is getting a bit worse for wear at the moment. I currently have one of the Yellow Hexis rulers but found it to be not the best as the knife can still dig in to the paint and mine is now running on the bare aluminium and not very smooth at all.
What have you tried and would recommend as a good quality one?

Warren I know what you mean with the yellow ones the paint is very soft. Nearly cut myself several times. I have seen these at JAG but not used one.

I’ve got a metre-length JAG rule, and I can highly recommend it. Expensive, but heavy & non-slip. I’ve also got a 500mm yellow one, which is not nearly so good.

I have had my JAG one for 5 years now and use it all the time.

bought 2 from Jag this week, one just under a meter and one just over a meter and they work great, however the best thing about them is the colour :lol1:

certainly not sexy, but do the job very well indeed…. cutting straight lines that is… 😛 -
Yeah I made this one a while ago but because I haven’t found anything to put underneath to stop it from sliding around while cutting it just sits in the corner now watching in shame as I use other rulers….

i had the 2m something one sent over to me! and yes i love it! perhaps we should start a poll "sexiest bit of signwriting kit".
that should produce some scary photos!!
