Route Finder Software
Hi All
I`m just doing some research on a possible new side to the business……
One of the items we discussed was delivery!
If we had 20 orders to be personally delivered per day. How can we plan the best route. Is there a website or software or even a sat nav, that when you input all the post codes into it at once, and it gave out the most economical route to take to deliver all items, surely the post office vans must use something like that??

Must be software but the old way was to stick pins in a map join up with a bit of string.

lots of sat navs will do that, but there are commercial programs available that will not only plot the route, but will track the vehicle whilst on route, all the delivery companies use this type of software, do a google for vehicle tracking

UKSB Sign Toolbar under the UK Resources tab, then "journey plan & calculation" I tend to use the RAC one if i am looking for a quick reference.

i use google maps… but never done 20 in a list

Just use Google maps and keep adding destinations.
You can then drag the route around on the map wherever you like to change the route. -
