  • Rolling up vinyl with application tape applied? Help please?

    Hello,

I have a small online shop which is selling DIY graphics kits, we cut & weed then send out to the customer.

I used to apply the paper type application tape, roll it up and put into a tube. However was receiving many complaints as applying the application tape would cause the vinyl to crease quite badly when rolled up and used to mess the letters up.

Does anyone know if the clear style application tape does this when rolled up? Or does anyone have a solution for this.

    Help appreciated

    Regards
    Mitch

hi mitch, i run a internet based sign business and use 3inch tubes to send my products etc, never had any complaints( apart from a guy that left the print on his radiator to straighten it out as been in tube lol) we use the paper application tape, maybe your tubes are to small in diameter?, silly question but are you rolling them with artwork facing outwards (so u can see lettering when rolled) ?, hope this helps
