Roland VS-640i Profiles – profile issues, help please?
Hey guys
I’ve got a versacamm vs-640i but i’m struggling with profiles.
When I install versaworks 5.20 then update to 5.50 the only profiles I have are generic vinyl 1, generic vinyl 2 etc.
When I spoke to Grafityp and a couple of other supplies, they seem to suggest that I should have extra profiles like SPVCB, SP-CLT, GVWG, THT etc etc etc
I’ve spoke to Roland and they said go to their site and there is about 10 profiles to download, none match what they suppliers tell me. Here’s the link http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/3rdmedia … x_7cw.html
I want to start printing but i’m not getting great results and i’m stuck with what profiles to use, does anyone else have this printer that can help with my profile issues?

In Versaworks Go to Help > then Versaworks Online. You will be able to access suppliers profiles from here which should help you.

I’ve seen those but speaking to metamark and under the Promotional and Display section media MD-PP210 states that I need Sihl 3654 / GPPG which are generic profiles.

A couple of other suppliers have also said i need a certain profile that i should have, the only thing I can think of is that they’re getting confused with my printer model but the metalmark see is clearly vs-640i?
