Last week I replaced the yellow head in my VP-300, the yellow is all good now but encountered a problem 😕
The magenta has gone from good to really bad, pictures added…
Test print is very poor, the DT3 is of the scale!

This was a test print before the yellow head went in…

    This is now!

    A few more test prints….

You can see from the pictures it’s spraying all over….. printing text it leaves a shadow/ghosting all over, high speed print is a lot better than a high quality print but still very poor 🙁
Any help on where/what to try next would be appreciated 🙄

Tried new cap tops, dampers, encoder has been cleaned, new wipers, checked all cables….not sure where to go next…it was printing fine before the yellow head was replaced 😕

First of all, I’d say it’s something head or above as it’s only with the M and not the K. My guess would be that there’s a hairline fracture in the manifold, possibly knocked when replacing the dampers on the other head?
