    Running a Roland VF2-640, along side a GR2 540 cutter.

In the main it does what it should however, I’m reverting back to the trusty graphtec this morning as it’s driving me potty.

Printed a panel fill, a logo, and 3 small logos for a van.

In versaworks added marks “Around Each Data Entry” to ensure an accurate cut around the smaller logos, and nested the jobs together.

Cutter cut the first one fine, but wouldn’t read the 2nd jobs marks. Un-nested the job, and tried to cut the 2nd logo on it’s own, but the cutter skips back to mark of the original job.

Ripped it again on it’s own same issue.

Finally resorted to cutting the logo off the roll, and reloading into the cutter, this time it worked… except now the cutters decided it’ll cut with more pressure through the backing – NOTHING has changed in versaworks, or on the cutter 😠

Reprint of one logo, using the graphtec instead.

Is it not possible to nest multiple cut jobs together, and cut them individually?

i cant be much help but with regards to your nesting issue, its the same with onyx if you nest jobs together you end up with 1 cut path file instead of seperate ones.

I’ve printed the ‘nest job’ but each graphic has it’s own set of registration marks for the cutter.

Un-nesting the job, you’d think you’d be able to cut the one file, but it appears not 🙄
