    hi…have a roland sc540..old i know…
    i use the new version of watsatch which i bought as an up grade to color rip…and use on windows 10..
    all my greys seem to have a red hue to them or sometimes a green hue..
    i use corel x7 ….export as a pdf and then print ..i only have the profiles from the colour rip…
    so what am i doing wrong …
    have had the printer a year and know how to fix things now..just dont know much about profiles..
    any help would be great

    It could be your ink set – what inks are you using?

    use jetbest inks 6 color set up

    Make sure you have the right profiles for the ink set you are using.

    I get this one some files.

    When it happens I reduce the ink limit to 80% on the magenta chanel

    Probably not the proper way of fixing the issue as it is a profile issue but it does work when greys have a pink tinge to them

    Yes printing greys can be a nightmare. Try printing out a pantone chart and choosing one that doesn’t have a hue to it. I find the Cool grays print best

    Hi,
    As Phill said you need your printer profiled. We use Jetbest too and had our machine profiled. Now we can hit any color we want including any shade of grey. Before profiling grey was either blueish or reddish.
