    Hi Salman

What was the nozzle check like before you changed the captop? You obviously have some nozzles missingin the cyan. Have you done a normal x 2 and possibly follow with a medium clean since changing the captop? Did you wet the captop with roland cleaning fluid after changing (some don’t but I do). If it was me I’d try that then leave overnight and try again see if any nozzles come back. Give edge of captop seal a good wpe with a foam swab in cleaning fluid as it has a lubricant to ensure good seal. Following that I’d try a head soak. Did you change your wiper and felt at same time – what condition were/are they in. Feed calibration looks good.

Sure more expert advice will be along soon but good luck!

I am having a very similar issue at the moment with Metamark MD5.
when i switch to a monomeric mactac vinyl, the problem completely disappears.
i’m going to look into a few different polymeric vinyls in the coming days to see if its still happening.

Looking at the print i would be looking to see if you have any fluff on the head as you have smudges up to the print, this is normally caused by debris on the head or static. I would soak the head over night to see if you can get nozzles back, have you checked to see if the capping station is actually creating a vacuum

i have in the past on a Pro 3. it was a slightly different set up, x6 heads. bit messy, but fairly straight forward.
It worked temporarily, sometimes for weeks, sometimes days.

Hi as said you need to check with a syringe that the capping station is sealing and allowing a vacuum to be formed, fitting a new cap does not guarantee this,

    thanks, Kevin..
im trying & googling through to avoid head change…
in our area roland agent wants 2500 us dollar for replacing head
i feel it is expensive ( comparing to price on net shop. )ebay, amazon , ….
as a beginner in printing machines , i feel the forum is nearer to me than the agent
because my location is 200 km from tech and store …
    thanks again
    any idea, suggestion may help….
