Does anyone know where I can get my hand on a pricing metric for Roland Inks.
I am trying to work out the INK cost per liner meter based on using a 54" roll with 100% coverage. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Noel, I worked it out by putting a metre length of CMYK into the queue, which then told me the ink consumption in cc’s. I then printed off a Versaworks ink estimation chart, where you can work out/record the costs per cc & multiples. I must have got the chart from the Rolanddg.co.uk website, in the Versaworks Quick Guide.
I must say it has been very useful.

Thanks Lorraine. Your reply was really helpful. The following is a link to the Roland VersaWorks Ink Estimation sheet which others might find useful – http://www.rolanddg.co.uk/content/resou … -09_KP.pdf

I asked at the Roland stand during Sign and Digital they said work on £2.50 Sq/M

By my maths my machines is 18p a cc. Will look try your idea of 1sqm of CMYK and see what the rip says.
