    Hi Folks,

WE have a Roland GX24 cutter that we use for Small jobs. It came with software called Sign Studio which is very basic. We have this kind of set up as a stand alone machine with its own pc etc. The problem is that it has a very limited amount of Fonts. Is there any way that I can add fonts to the already installed ones. I have searched on the pc for a folder titled FONTS and that associated to this software but am having no joy.

    Regards,

    Darren.

Do you not have any other software like coreldraw that you can cut from?

Doesnt it just use the fonts from your PC?

    Hi Guys,

I do have signlab attached to other machines but the CutStudio software and Roland Gx24 was just a stand alone setup away from the larger and more expensive equip. It s used regularly for small signage, and grment printing.

By the way, you will see that I have renamed the software to CutStudio as opposed to Sign Studio…..I just copped my earlier mistake as it is in fact called CutStudio.

I am unsure if it just uses the fonts on my pc and if so what program is it drawing them from. I don’t have any software on my pc with such a small selection of fonts available.

Forgive me if I am stating the obvious but why not install a new font on your pc and then see if it works it the software. I would have thought it should.

    Cheers
