    Hi all

I just changed both heads of my rockhopper I and told machine the correct both new head value as manual tell me and plug off the cable and plug on again.

After the ink refill no print are get from left head (right head works fine, and ink refill is ok on all dampers and to the whaste bottle) so I restored the machine to original defaults and put on again the new heads values.

Now no one of the heads prints.

I tryed to put back the old heads (with his head numbers) but they don’t work too.

    Please, can you help me?

    Thanks

Sorry, sounds like you have blown the main board, I have just had the engineer in after I did the same thing. Cost us £1000 to get it sorted.

sounds like the heads aren’t sitting on the capping stations. make sure the head if fitted correctly and sitting firmly on the carraige

    Hi Angel,

Did you get you’re rockhopper working again? I’ve come to a halt with my Rockhopper I after changing a printhead. I get a satisfactory test print with the right-hand printhead (LC, Y, LM), but nothing from the other. Swapping the heads round doesn’t solve it either.

I don’t like the sound of replacing the mainboard, which is why I was hoping you could shed light on if you got to a solution?

    Many thanks,

    Rich Goddard
