Just in case everyone thinks it’s all work, work, work and noses to the grindstone at “The Right Signs” – I thought I would show you that we know how to Rock and Roll with the best of them 😎 .

Eric, the manager of Pipemore (a small business operating out of the unit next door) is a very good friend of mine. However, he’s always teasing me about being an “official member of the UKSG” (That’s what it says on the sticker on the back of my van) so I decided it was time to punish him and take him down a peg or two.

I devised a cunning plan to make up a fictional number in black vinyl on a yellow vinyl background and stick it over the top of the rear number plate of his car. (I figured if I just put it on the rear plate it would benefit from maximum exposure during his drive home, yet there was little chance that he would notice as he would approach his car from the front as he left work).

Part two of the plan was to create a diversion:-

Alison craftily popped into his office for a chat (to keep him pre-occupied) whilst I crept up to the rear of his car and applied the fake number plate over the top of his existing plate. 😉

Oh how we tittered and snorted as he smugly left his office to drive home while we imagined the responses of other motorist following and overtaking him on the Motorway.

Here’s a picture of his car taken just after the deed was done:-

Fantastic Phil, gave me such a huge grin.

I wonder if it will take for the police to pull him over before he realises

    Excellent…… 😀 😀 😀

I was done like a Kipper some years ago. A late night at the Graphics Department and I was tickled pink having just taken delivery of my new company car, Capri S with Alloys, the lot (told you it was a while ago!).

One of the designers made up a huge paper banner to go down the passenger side saying, Young free and single, Blow me a kiss, give me a wave…BOYS!

It wasn’t till I’d done the 20 mile trip home that I realised why I was getting all the attention!

PS: It works better with some offcuts of Magnetic….nudge, nudge, wink, wink!! (:) (:) (:) (:)

Eddie – he took it really well (at least superficially he did anyway) he seemed to think it was a great joke 😀 ….

    Steve – You’re right, something tells me he’s cooking up his revenge…. I’m on my guard…. I wish I hadn’t done it now…. he’s going to get me back .. I know he will… :-?.. who’s that behind me………. err………
