i know this isnt entirely legal mate, but…
you could do a search on google or google images for destop, wallpaper, backgrounds of famous singers etc many of these are decent rez…
save them onto your comp, then… go into your art package and open it.
CUT it to clipboard, then click FILE, NEW.. the package will automaticaly create the same dimensions of the image on your clipboard. BUT this time, before saying OK.. change the rez to something like 300dpi, then PASTE in the image.
now im basing this on my TROOP RIP, but i open it in there, size in there and print a test “section” of the image. if its pixalated try again and increase the rez higher. then save again and open in rip software…

im sure thats how andrew and i done the spiderman image i posted last week. and i can tell you i was totaly amazed at the quality.
(hope i explained that correct though, 🙄 )

oh one other thing… try get a desktop/wallpaper image at 1152×864
the smaller ones arent any use.

if you look at the bottom of this spiderman you can see the two small tests first changing the rez before printing..

l found a picture around the rez that you suggested, opened it in photoshop. The res was set to 72 so l reset to 300 and printed. Got a fantastic result.
To be honest l didn’t understand the “cut it to clipboard”
    Luckily didn’t have to.
