Hi everyone… hope 2006 has got off to a good start for you all! 😛
I thought i would just make this post to prevent any confusion/upset in the coming weeks for some folk.
As most know UKSB prefers everyone to use an avatar/profile picture. It makes the site appear much friendlier, personal. not only this, in the 4+ years of running the boards i personally can see a clear trend in folk with pictures in place, getting more help/replies than those posting without. So please, if you have a picture handy, load it on the site, if you are unsure how to, send it to me and ill do it for you! admin@uksignboards.com (remember include your username!)
Please note:
All pictures/avatars must be a “head & shoulders” shot only. That also means no hat, scarf, sunglasses or a groucho marks moustache…
Distance shots on your favorite moped from teenage years, or ones of you and the wife in bed… ahemmmm i mean… oh forget it. I am sure you know what i mean? 😳 :lol1:So why the need to post this?
well… during the festive period, we all like a bit of a laugh and some have started posting funny, edited pictures & the like… (Nothing wrong in that and just adds to the spirit of “the boards”) but…. what i would like to ask is,
“would it be possible, if you haven’t already, revert back to a proper avatar/profile picture please? The longer the funnies/edited pictures are in place, the more “newbie’s” will use similar, only to be deleted and cause upset.Anyway, it’s Friday night and i need another glass of wine! 😛
