Been using RH for years and at times its been hard to remain loyal to them due to stock and delivery issues. Have had no real issues for ages and now out of the blue its gone to pot again. Either no stock or stocks due on such a date which will still allow you to meet deadlines etc, so you order it and it never appears when you chase the order you get told that I’ll check that out and you never get a call back. You chase them again and get told that I made a call but they ain’t got back to me. So i don’t know if its Sales, Buyers or Warehouse staff that needs a kick up the arse but if someone from RH reads this it needs sorting or my customer loyalty will be heading elsewhere.

I’ve had a few run in’s with RH.

They’re a 10min drive from my unit, so I started using them, their pricing is ok, I save on Delivery as I can collect next day.

Trouble I had was that they were taking payments by debit card that didn’t tally up with invoices. It wasn’t until I rang them they realised the problem, and then wanted me to pay £9 from January… this was only 2-3 weeks ago.

In my finest queens english told them where to go, and now have a credit account so I can keep an eye on what they’re doing.

I ordered 3m of vinyl, for the Mini roof I did, went to collect it to be told it was out on a van for delivery… they even had it down as a collection.

Although when I have ran low on ink, they have bailed me out of the brown stuff… but I wouldn’t rely on them having the stock in at the branch.

Just to conclude this, a phone call from Cameron has hopefully solved at least one problem and just waiting on others to be rectified. Hopefully RH will take everything on board & we won’t find ourselves in this situation again.

RH hope you realise what an asset you have in Cameron

Cameron many thanks again really appreciate you taking the time to contact us

I personally never found their pricing to be very competitive for vinyl. But then I don’t buy in bulk so found the odd 20 metres of a couple of colours cheaper elsewhere. Perhaps they do hold their own for the range they offer?

I order in my vinyl for each job, so don’t carry ‘stock’ so to speak, just roll ends.

They bettered Metamarks price, and Metamark have since matched RH price, but RH are down the road and saves me £7.00 per order on delivery.

I found MDP quite reasonable. Especially for Oracal. It’s my chosen brand of vinyl – I just find it works for me.

I am not fortunate enough to have anywhere local enough to be able to pop in which is a shame.

I got on with Robert Horne really well until, like you say, their stock system went to pot.

With my hand forced, I started using Spandex & they have since bent over so far backwards for me on occasions, they’re standing the right way up again.

Sad to hear RH are sliding back to the old days again.
