Robert Horne minimum order
Posted by Alistair Richards on August 17, 2010 at 8:04 pmHi All,
Been away from the boards for a while so must have missed something, Rang robert horne to order today. I usually pay as I go by card, but I was told that details are no longer held with these type of customers. So I had to go through all my address and UKSG membership etc. Was also told that unless I ordered over £50 worth delivery was gonna be £15 :yikes:
What’s going on? 😕

In the t & c I remember it saying something like delivery charges at branch managers discretion. I called the other day they wouldn’t let me order on my card even though I always use it with them, next day rang a different branch and they took my card no problem. Rob did mention that there is a uksg number to call them on and this may make a difference.

not soley UKSG of course, but deal with all RHG’s bigger accounts. From memory, there are no minimum charges….
I meet with them on thursday morning and hopefully i can put all this to bed and dish out the info for RHG & Wm Smith and move on… 🙄

I needed 5m of 551 last week, delivered next day FOC. Must be the smallest invoice I’ve ever had! :lol1:
Must say that since using the Manchester branch I have had no problems and only excellent service.Lorraine

Placed an order for one sheet of Skybond last week. At first they told me min order £50 but after pressing them to check UKSB agreements they came back to say No Min Order and Free Delivery. Asked them to add these details to my account reference so hopefully dont have to go through all the rigmarole in the future. Getting there. Thanks Rob

I’m with Hugh on this one, I use Bristol and have not had any problems.
The number I use is different though, 0117 972 1671. The one you quoted Hugh I think is the original Europoint number in Bristol.
Ben the rep popped in last week and he confirmed that there is now a minimum order for fluted plastic (Correx type). You used to be able to
get a couple of sheets at a time but it’s now 5 minimum.Cheers
