Robert Horne Delivery charge
Posted by Warren Beard on March 11, 2011 at 3:43 pmHi
I just got a letter about a price increase (another one) it also said they are now charging for delivery.
As a UKSG member do these increases effect us and do we also start paying for delivery now?
Maybe Rob will know 😉

Thanks for the heads up on the delivery. To be honest I had the same letter and saw the price increases then binned it. I missed the delivery charge bit so wouldn’t have noticed it till I got an invoice. Most of the time it won’t be an issue but sometimes we only need low value orders.
Thanks again

if you currently get free delivery as a uksg member, you will still get free delivery as a uksg member. 😀
there are exceptions to the rule though. some folk that cannot get deliveries via RHG trucks, have to pay for a carrier like any other supplier would unless you exceed a stated price.
However, RHG has the largest fleet and wide spread trunking route, so the vast majority of group members will get their free delivery.if you have a complaint, please do so via the dedicated supplier complaint link/form.
as stated, i too get copies of all emails sent to suppliers, that includes account activation, complaints and enquires. this is so i can archive everything and have records should i ever need. rest assured, if there is ever a pattern forms i will be on the phone to the supplier. but i am afraid, if you need definaite answers, posting here can only fall on deaf ears. because RHG or ehowever the supplier at the time. needs to know and i need the official complaint before i can state my case with them.hope this helps. 😀

Just phoned RH for a quote, and was advised about the new delivery charge. Asked about UKSG members and the guy I spoke to said the delivery charge is built into the system and is unable to be taken out (as far as he is aware), so is applied to ALL orders under £75.

I have spoke to them regarding this, and have been given a full explanation to why this has come about.
this is NOT a charge added to the UKSG. this is a charge for every single customer that Robert Horne service.
I will be sending out a notice regarding this, but as far as i am aware, it has been sent via mail to all customers already.i will explain a bit more a.s.a.p….
