  • Road sign clips question?

Posted by Ryan Fairweather on October 3, 2006 at 9:40 am

Producing our own 16ft road sign with 76mm round post clips and back to back clips.

Figured out the post clips (slide one end in and the square bolt, rotate clip around post and tighten.

But for the life of me i cant figure out how to use the back to back clip in relation to this, can anyone give a few pointers to dumb old me?

    cheers

the back to back clip pulls up in the middle instead of against the rail if that makes any sense i leave one end slack then slide around post and tighten its awkward until you do it a few times and nigh on impossible on your own.

    Hi George,

any chance of a diagram. I think its one of those things that you need to see.
I just cant invisage how it relates to the sign post at all! Must be having a brain moment 😮

I assume that the square end slides in leaving the end with the bolt hole waivering around in the air but then what?

sorry to be a pain mate
