Hi all just another sign which I really like, brushed copper sheet face fixed with brown trim, 19mm letters painted and sealed edges on locators with matt vinyl and etch to windows

Martin the copper sheet is alupanel, this looks truly amazing in the flesh! Simple sign and for cost reasons face fixed but the trim matches the doors and surrounding area, very nice shop.

Don’t think I have seen it used externally before, did you bond it to the existing fascia or screw it under the frame.

    Looks truely amazing mate..well done

Fixed to edge of sheet and the trim covers the fixings.

Great work Richard – well done.

I see your spray painting experience gained in another life is still being put to good use 😀

Phill its been a handy skill to have mastered, so many things in this game call for time in the oven and with this weather I was painting at 30 degrees in my shorts, could not put these on a full bake as the air inside the letters would have popped on the edges so just painted at 30 and left over night.

I’ve just done a job with brushed ally panel and the suppliers said that there is a special one for exterior use which is lacquered.
True enough it had a dead smooth lacquer finish to it and looked great.

I didn’t know there was a special exterior brushed ally board. What make is it Peter?

I have done many exterior brushed ally signs in allupanel and skybond including a 25′ x 4′ long one I see on the way home and after 2 years it’s still looking good.

I love the brushed copper effect one Rich has used.

another great looking sign rich, well done mate… always good to see what you have been up to. 😀

we did a copper sign not so long ago and agree with you it looks great as its that bit different from the norm. its just local to me so ill see if i can get a picture. i think its flat cut letters or vinyl, not dimensional like yours which makes all the difference.

thanks for taking the time to load the pictures rich, well done!
