Must be my week for restoration of old signs and cars.

Last month an old Jaguar – striping and decals to match original specification
Last week – a east German Trabant to be vinyl-ed up as a Police car
Yesterday a 17th century sign – stone and hand painted
    last week
Today 3 Ford Anglia’s to be done up as Police Panda Cars (Heartbeat Style) White vinyl on Doors, over roof and down the other side with police legend to doors

If anything else you can’t say this job is boring.

    Anyone else with unusual jobs?

Got a weird customer who when he first came in I had to produce the Nazi eagle holding the swastika. Apparently he supplies vehicles for various films. Since then we have just done nine ambulances to the same spec. as the 1979 ones for a film on the Marchoness Disaster. The latest job was a double decker bus with the old type advertising hoardings set in the 1950’s. It sounds fun but when you have only got half a dozen old photos to work off, it makes your brain hurt.

P.S. Am I becoming a WORKAHOLIC???? because everytime I come to work, I want a drink!

as i showed on my thread i the showing off section, i recently did a dukes of hazzard patrol car decals, and am currently working on a set of general lee decals !

just been asked to do a clifornia highway patrol car set too,

‘m currently looking a for a ‘different’ shop vehicle for myself, something that’ll be instantly recognisable as ‘that mad signs bloke’ !! i’m looking along the lines of a 1949 dodge panel van with some period style advertising on the sides, just so cool !
