Replace Pre Fill-Up carts with Cleaning carts?
Hi all,
I own a Mimaki CJV30 printer/cutter with SS21 inks (mild solvant)
My cleaning fluid cart is going to be empty and needs replacement. I heard that this one could be replaced by the pre fill up carts that I had when the machine was delivered in the workshop.
Did you also hear this? Can I do that without any problem?
It will just be a way to use the pre fill carts instead of catching the dust… 😀 (I have 8 of them)
I guess the question also applies to JV33 and JV5 printers as the print mechanism is the same.

We were told this too, when our JV33 was installed. Still on the original cleaning cart
though, so I haven’t tried it yet. -
We used up a couple of our prefill up carts with our JV33 with Eco-HS1 inks. Then kept using the genuine washing carts and kept the two left over prefills in case of emergency i.e. running out of washing because I had forgotten to order a spare for the shelf after using the last one 🙄
They don’t seem as good as the washing carts but they do get you out of the crapper if you need it.
