Hi Folks, We recently have replaced a Vinyl written sign with a stand off but im having real trouble removing the adhesive, I have previously used IPA or tar remover but because of how big the letters are it is literally taking hours to remove the slightest bit . Is there any tips or product that will fire this crap off !

We use a tar and glue remover from autosmart called preptone. Most car dealers use an autosmart supplier so you should find one easy enough. Soak a rag and wet the area needed to be cleaned. Keep it wet and after about 5 mins use an old squeegee and it will slide off into a Huey paste.
There isn’t really an easy fix to remove old glue. It’s best done during the vinyl removal stage.
    Hope this helps.

I agree with Iain however I use a diff Autosmart product called tardis and find it works really well… Soak a rag and wipe over the glue then after 5 minutes just scrape it off with an old squeegee
