    Removing rear door handle from Ford Transit

    Hi all
    Can anyone advise how you remove the door handle for the back of a new Ford Transit.

    Have done the side doors before but this looks like some form of rivet rather than a nut.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi Gary, we did one a few weeks ago and if its what i think it is it is like a rivet and we had to drill it out and replace it with a nut and bolt when we re-assembled it…

    Thanks for the input.

    These are brand new vans, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that. Worse case scenario is that we just trim round but would rather remove the handle.

    To get it off it will have to be drilled…..easy job
