If you have tried the usual things like IPA, Tar and Glue Remover etc and had no joy Grafityp do a glue remover and so do Spandex, they are not cheap but if you have already spent 2 days at it then this may be your best option.

I use Avery Panel Cleaner. It is also expensive but works very well. I do not know where you can get this but any Avery vendor should have it.

3M Industrial Cleaner. A citrus based non-solvent spray that will soften the glue. Works brilliantly.

best stuff by far …………… only recently tried it and it’s really good. Makes a change from getting high on the fumes of thinners or any other potent mixture 😀

yup, it’s really good (…does exactly what it says on the tin…)

It’s a ‘petroleum distilate with orange extract’ – a bit like Breezers. 😉

I use the ‘rapid’ gum remover and this works well, though it does kind of dissolve the glue so can get messy.

Are you struggling to get the vinyl off? If a wee bit of heat doesn’t work then a wall paper steamer almost always does the job (almost!)

I’m a bit fan of it! You find that if you alter the time you leave the steamer on you can usually get it to take the glue of at the same time

Try Rapid Remover from the makers of Rapid Tac.
    There is nothing better.
It smells good, works great, and will NOT harm the surface.
It’s citrus-based, turns the old glue into an easily scraped off goo.
I just took all the reflective vinyl residue off a fire truck with it last week.

    I use Right-off, from dorotape.
Citrus based and you just spray on leave for a minute and it wipes clean off with a cloth.
    £8.50 ish a litre or £30 a gallon I think
