Phil, wish you both all the best with the move and hope you settle in and find work quickly.

There are quite a few sign shops out that way.
I think the US sign market is just as saturated as the UK one.
I am leaning more and more towards logo design, the older I get the better it is for me.
Hope you don’t mind the rainy weather.

good luck phil with your move…..hope it works out for you both 😀

Best of Luck to you.
Wish I could get out to oz myself so understand where you’re coming from.
How are you managing to qualify? -
Thanks guys, really looking forward to a new challenge..my wife is American so it helps getting visa’s etc..still loads of red tape and paperwork..

Yeah, Seattle’s pretty awesome. I have a bunch of friends that moved from the Southeast up that way years ago. Really clean town for a larger American city. Pike Place Market has great seafood (or really any fresh food you want). You should take the Ferry across to Alki Beach (pronounced like Al Kie) when you get a chance. It has a great view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. The Rainier Cherry’s are a must buy during season. I think you’ll love it once you get there.

Phil!
You’re going to love it there. Have you left already? I was stationed there (Ft. Lewis) for 3 years. Great place to be, if you can handle the rain.
My good friend lives in Lacey now, i’ll be there visiting in the next few months actually. Get me your email and i’ll forward it to him. If you have a drink now and again I’m sure he’d take you out for a pint and show you around, great guy.
