    Hi Guys,

Might sound crazy but today i could not get the printer to read the third registration mark on my Roland vs640i.
It reads the first two points but once it travels to the back to read the third it looks as if it don’t travel far enough back to reach the third registration mark (1cm out ish). It was a small print – laminate – cut job. Sheet size 1.5m x 1m.

Any input would help before i go bold.

    Thanks 8).
    Tas

Check you are sending the right job again. We have made that mistake.

Do you have enough extra vinyl at the back? if not then the sensor at the back of the cutter will think its the end of the roll..if so, add a few inches to the end.

If you have enough vinyl at the back then it could be your alignment when placing the material in the machine. when making the reg marks, make them bigger for longer prints and try not to make cut & prints too long.

    Hope it helps

Thanks for the tips guys and for taking the time to reply 8). In the end the actual issue was me pressing get paper width before starting the cutting. Good few metres of the good stuff in the bin 8(. Live and learn.
