I have a Roland SP540i running on eco max inks, can I print onto normal reflective vinyl or do I need to order a printable reflective? I did try a normal piece and it was a touch runny lol

Print on to clear and apply to the reflective.

Oralite 5200, 5400 and 5600 are all printable with eco-solvent inks

I just do the same as Warren.

Print on clear & ‘laminate’ the reflective with it.

I print direct to orolite and laminate after, never had a problem and customers are always really happy with the effect

Thanks peeps, I’ve got some oracle printable just arrived, now I’m wondering what setting to print on the Roland, there’s a media setting for most other materials?

I do a lot of printed reflective material, always direct to oralite 5600 or 5400 (using a latex btw) but great results.

I don’t always laminate it, it seems much more robust that regular vinyls with regards the print. I do tend to laminate it ON to a clear or white vinyl after printing as this makes it infinitely easier to remove in a few years time!!
