refilling cadett cartridges?

Best pplace to buy the carts from, and what prices are you getting them at???

yes ive searched about and got the codes for the ink an the manafacturer

what warantee ive nearley had it 12 mnths but saying that i was sopesedly having a noisy pump changed just after having it an no one bothered getting back about it but its ok now
the inks whats in the carts anyway -
You cannot refill the cadet carts with any success , they use a bladder and the neck is sealed much like a vial of injectable medicine. You can actually do it , but the risks you run are huge. You can use a huge horse syringe and a stout needle and inject the ink in , however if you puncture the bladder you are stuffed , it’s extremely messy , if you gat air into the system you are also stuffed and the inks are solvent based so if spilled attack just about everything.
You do get refillable carts and bulk ink systems , but they also have problems as a lot of the inks are hygroscopic (absorb water) and the risk of getting dirt and air in the system is large.
Inks are generally obtaiable from Triangle or Techink , make VERY VERY sure your bulk ink suppliers ink is compatible with the mods done and is not cheap chinese junk where the pigments are not ground well. solvents are solvents , but its the pigment that matters , both type and size of particle.
Im pretty sure the warrantee will be voided if you use non approved inks , or at least the heads , pump , tubing , wipers , dampers and capping station will not be covered.
There are a lot of other issues using bulk inks and a bulk delivery system. We use a flatbed that has an epson head and uses mild solvent inks in bulk. We have had to run air intake into the bulk bottles thru a dessicant to remove water , we use inline filters and have to do more cleaning cycles than normal.
Profiles are also thrown out of whack and often batches of inks vary. In reality just about all types of semi and full solvent inks will flow thru the epson heads , its the other bits that get graunched.
Another issue with bulk ink systems is that storage of bulk inks is important , cool , dark places preferred and they also have a shelf life , contamination of a large quantity is also expensive.

Bulk ink system really only work out well if you are doing almost continuous printing. -

hi rodney have you seen these refill catridges,i wouldnt use the ink but what do you recon the refill carts -
I know this may sound too easy but we have a fairly old solvent printer and the bulk ink bottles sit level with the heads and feed from the top directly into extended ink tubes. cartridges are left in but not connected.

do you use a one way valve on the top so that when the ink level drops,so the bottle dont squeez ?
were did you get the bottles are they made with tube conectors on them? -
basically I drilled one hole in the cap for the pipe and another for ventilation. ink levels have to be kept fairly level with the head.
