How long would be it reasonable to wait for an engineer to make an apointment, to arrange to fix a printer under waranty.
I have been waiting a week only to say some one will phone back.
Has any one else had this problem with impact graphic solutions or is it just me.
To be fair to them though, they have give me b&p’s number who are going to do my waranty work. low and behold there going to phone me back too.
After spending 11k with graphic on a lam and printer you would have thought some one would of aranged an apointment to the work, instead of me having to phone round chasing it up, or am i inpatient.
They came recomended from this site to.

Lets say you can do 10 sq meters at 35 quid a day , a week dowwntime is costing you 5 x 350 – 1750 quid.
Perhaps if you make that point , or even invoice them out for it – you might get some response!! 🙂
Whats the problem with the machine ? Perhaps someone here can help?

David the 1st I knew you still had a problem was today. B & P do all the warranty work on the Cadet & Grenadier. In our experience they are very good at this. When you called me today I got straight on to them (as I did when you origianlly reported the problem) Today I gave you their number as I thought you may get a quicker response going direct. I also said call back if you didn’t recieve a satifactory response?

I am sorry I cannot be of more help. No matter where you buy the machine from B & P are responsible for warranty work. If I could help more or sort the problem myself I would be more than willing to do it….

As to your original question I would expect at least a telephone response the same day and the proble to be fixed in 1-2 days. In our experience this is genearlly what happens, I will ask both Noel & B&P what has gone wrong on this occasion.

Quick update, B & P will be out to fix the machine this afternoon. They say the fault was reported last Wednesday 11th?

Just about to make the decision myself as to what machine i spend my money on so would be interested in peoples views

Thanks to Brian at impact chasing it up ime working again bar a noise which will be sorted this week when the engineer comes back with the part.

The printing problem was caused by too little pipes falling of which in its self is nothing major to manafacture, the noise coming of the motor stalling is probly a duff motor which any one could get.so other than a glitch ime please with my little machine up to yet.

Ime also pleased that Brian managed to get a fitter out so quick once he realised the falt hadn’t been rectified. As a supplier i would recomed his service to others.1 thing i would like to see happen though is a chase up call to customers to verifie problems are solved.

Thanks Dave, I will bear in mind chasing up to make sure B & P have done their job next time. Your machine is the 1st Cadet that has required an engineer in the 7 months we have been supplying them, so it is fairly rare. Hopefully once they come to sort out the noise you will have no further problems 🙂
