Rant about Hexis
Had the rep in from Hexis a few months back and moaned about their pricing, was given much better prices and decided to go back to using them.
Ordered a few rolls and all was ok mainly using their V200 for my latex printer. Now the V200 is a grey backed vinyl and I wanted some with clear adhesive on so ordered their V201 and some clear V202 remember it’s the same vinyl but with clear adhesive, and guess what it was £63.25 per roll dearer!!!!!! 😮
Rang Lynn only to be told that she can reduce the price a little but there will be no credit note for previous orders 👿 and it still won’t be as cheap as the greybacked version.

I think it has something to do with the clear adhesive option. I’ve been using a white Oracle digital print material with grey and clear adhesive, for several years. Last time I rang Paperlinx/Robert Horne for the clear adhesive version the answer was – ”Sorry we don’t carry that material any longer”
I now get the same grade of both materials, for less, from All Print Supplies.
I’ve also had the same reply from Paperlinx when re-ordering some 551 series coloured vinyl, went elsewhere again – actually Hexis.
My Gold membership seems to be of somewhat less value these days.

Hexis are very hit and miss in my experience. They have some nice products but not that easy to deal with, you never get through on the phone very quickly and the pricing does seem to fluctuate a bit.
They should have told you about the price difference before you bought it, or at least matched it for that one purchase.
Long term sales are what should be in mind when suppliers deal with these types of issues, in my opinion at least
