    I don’t know if anyone has seen these or has got one, but I have so many things wrong with it;

    I am still having big problems with my rabbit plotter. When I use it with corel draw it only cuts one item if I make a few things to cut then plotter crashes or the computer turns itself off, I have noticed sparks coming from the axle when the metal contacts. Is there any way of cutting more than one item at a time? If the item is too detailed it will also crash.

    I am trying to get it on my laptop running vista, but I had no luck getting it to work. It says there is no communication port? If I purchase the latest artcut will this work on my laptop running vista and will this solve all these problems?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers…

    Do yourself a favour and do what I did,
    Get in touch with Rob, ask his advice and buy a new plotter from the shop.

    It doesnt help with your question I know, but it will sure stop you having a lot more in the future.
    regards

    hello
    most of the cheap machines from chine are not true usb, they have a built in usb converter, so you will need to check your com port settings,
    that might be your problem,
    as for artcut it will work on vista, but when you talk about sprks comming of the machine that does not sound safe does it have CE,
    your suppling dealer should really be helping you,

    Thanks for your help, I found some problems to be with Corel draw. The plotter would crash so I would close corel draw turn off the plotter then re-open, it would then cut ok for about 3-4 goes. So maybe will try Artcut on Vista laptop. I couldn’t find any com ports in the device manager, It would only show up the Rabbit in USB, however I needed to change the settings on the com port?

    Cheers
