I use to use it all the time. I think its as good as any other. Go for the high tack. I use to buy this in Australia found I could find more suppliers selling it so could call around and get good price.

Chris, think that’s what I am using at the moment. Had problems with my usual supplier and managed to pick up a roll of this reasonably cheap. It’s OK but to be honest I think I prefer what I was using before. Probably down to the fact that I have been using the same brand for so long and I am use to it.

Have used Rtape Conform 4075-RLA since 1998 exclusively with never a problem.
Tried that clear crap once, seemed like a good idea but I was wrong.

    Hi All

I use the 4075 as well as always found the medium tack not up to the job some times, I now have some wall graphics to do (well lots to do) and wondered if going with the Low tack might not be a good idea and maybe use medium tack, can anybody comment on the low tack stuff and/or should I use medium or Low for wall graphics which have a lot of small pieces too.

    cheers

Their Clear app tape is ok for really small things if you want to register stuff on a table, but anything big which requires you putting it on a dispenser its USELESS. It Creases and ruins all your work, Their other stuff is good though! 😮

Which ones are you talking about Thomas? I don’t need to register multiple layers but don’t want a 2 day job to take a week due to application tape.

    cheers

I just use the Rtape Paper tape med tack for EVERYTHING its as good as any other to be honest.
I only use clear stuff for vinyl up-to say 200mm. and i have to lay it by hand

    Ok thanks

I would still like to hear about the low tack version and if better for walls than medium? I know usually with walls the vinyl tends to stick to the app tape rather than the wall so thought low tack might help release, but on the flip side might not come away from the backing line which is also a pain and usually the problem with tape which is why I use the high tack.

I can see myself either not getting the vinyl off the liner or it coming off the wall with the app tape.

    Looking for best option really.

    cheers

Sorry, Wish i could give advice on the low tack and also wish i was also doing wall graphics! lol

I did some for the first time in my office Monday (board!) did it without app tape, it was only 48" wide but 6ft so not huge but went on really well, just did the old center hinge method! works everytime lol 😉
