"Google Easy" telesales scam
Hi
Just had a telesales call on my ‘mobile’ which never happens, so no idea what list i am on now.They knew about the business and claimed first place on Google, but they kept on about Sponsored links on the right side. Prepared to let me have a trial for £80 or £20 a month (or something like that)
When asked if they got a good deal with Google, they told me to go to the website, http://www.searchengineeasy.co.uk/ and claimed over 20 years linked with the company, sure! On Google forums they say they have no agreements with any company like that.
So the call ended but I was calm this time lol
Everyone needs to earn a living, I believe that but telesales sadly does my head in and I prefer to ‘go out’ and find out about something.
Basically, positing this if they are just targeting Sign Makers only.
Google has a program called AdWords, it is cheap and uses the Sponsored links area of google, so no need to hand over countless monies when you can set it up in five minutes.

Got a call too, £90 per month, rolling contract. Plus Yell.com tried the same thing too for their own directory.
I try not to pay for any online advertising, as getting listed with loads of freebies pushes you up the listings anyway. Most of the top results come with Google maps, so get yourself on there…………………FOR FREE :lol1:
