Public liability insurance costings
Hello/Hi all
What does everyone pay for public liability insurance? Just had a renewal quote and seems a lot more than what I was paying?
I’ll need to dig out what I paid last year and it may be because I’m asking for 5m cover but just wondered what who you guys use and pay?

Hi Dan,
I pay in the region of £1600 a year max, that’s £5m PL, combined commercial insurance which covers everything and tools whether in house/van/site, working at height, with heat guns and more.. that’s around the £700 mark. Will vary on your equipment /insured value.I also have a motor trade risk policy for vehicles, covers all my own vehicles (add & remove as you see fit) plus driving customer vehicles. That’s around £800 pa for just me driving.
