    😀 Hi all . . . . .

Well, here is the latest addition to the family and the reason I’ve been so absent: William Curtis born 20:31 23/11/2006 weight: 7lb 6.5oz (after 60hrs labour – ouch!)

Have lots of stuff to catch up on so I’ll talk soon. Mads and Billy doing great but seems I’m coming out in sympathy!! Had stomach pains for a couple o weeks but said nowt seeing as Mads was about to have a baby but . . . got back from hospital, visit to loo to see blood in the ol wee!! Ey? Wots goin on theeyer? Couldn’t walk last night got shivvers and chills went to emergency clinic today and seems I’m having a baby . . .

I mean seems I have a UTI (infection) usually brought on with sex outside of marriage (so young female doctor told me this morning after she’d asked, ‘Let’s have a look at your genitals then!’)

LOL! So, dunno what’s going on there, bit too much info I know but I thought it would make you smile.

Mads is fine, and get this . . Billy was born with his membranes intact! :mindblow: This is incredibly rare and supposed to be really lucky, apparently he’ll never drown if he’s at sea! But man, what a weird thing to watch when you’re expecting to see the baby’s head crowning on delivery and all you see is this balloon getting larger! :confuse: It was bizarre!

Billy was then transferred straight to Maddy’s chest and the midwife had to tear him out of the protective layers – amazing, he actually ghasped his first breath as the layers were ripped back, like that scene in the Matrix! lol. 😮

So . . it’s a been a heck of a few days with not much sleep but gonna have to get back into ‘swing’ of things tomorrow. Gerry delivered Justin Hawkins guitar to me on Saturday all shiny and ready to put back together and it looks superb, very pleased with finished job. Pics on my website of finished guitar. http://www.organicimage.com/acatalog/justin_hawkins_guitar.html

2 new choppers in the workshop, one is a Venom frame from the USA with a Spidey Venom scheme and true fire. Brandywine over a burple blue/purple, should look great. Secong job is Angels & Demons theme and can’t wait to start on that too.

So . . here’s to fitting into new dynamic at home and I’m itching to get painting. Gonna be using Etac on the next 2 jobs and also, will do a little video of the paint performing next week so watch out for that on site.

    Talk soon friends 🙂

    Congratulations to you both!
    What an ordeal huh.
It is supposed to be good luck about being born "with the veil" and I have heard that those babies are gifted in many ways.
As for the UTI, you should drink 100% cranberry juice whenever you can.
    Nice work as always.
    Take care now…

Congratulations from me as well! Your life will now change forever :lol1:

Just had news today that a member of our VW club that we call Scary Claire (she is a goth) is also up the duff. The last person on earth that I thought would get pregnant. That baby will come out clad in black leathers I think :lol1: :lol1:

Not to take Beej’s thunder away, here are pix of the "goth" baby in our family for Mike to enjoy.
Regan Poe is now 10 weeks old. She’s my great-niece and I haven’t seen her in person yet but she’ll be here for Christmas.
This is what you can expect if your Goth friends have a baby.
Back to the subject! Didn’t mean to be a thread pirate.
    Love….Jill

    Congrats Beej.

My wife was in labour for four and a half days mate (108 hours). Finished up she grabed the docs shirt collars and told him on the 4th day ‘if this doesn’t happen today, I know where you live!’ They finished up putting her on the loo because she was so tired she didn’t have the energy to push anymore. Plenty of strength to abuse me tho 😮

As for the UTI. Jills advice is good. I’ve had it from when I was ten years old. Not had it for a while now, but I can vouch for the phrase – blood is thicker than water… Brings tears to the eyes ah 😕

    Cheers mate.

Congrats to you and the missus!

I’ll be joining you soon in the sleepless pleasures of parenthood. Yolanda is supposed to download in Feb. Dont know when I will have time to reboot….

P.S. I was also born "with the veil". Supposed to see the future an’ all. Then howcome did’nt I see I was destined to become the village idiot?
