Protection strip for camm1 pro 1860. roland ignoring me
OK so i need a protection strip.
After contacting Roland spare parts, twice receiving no answer and having to leave a message with my contact details i have yet to hear from them.
what can i do ?
ive looked for ptfe/glass tape but cannot get it at 4mm which it needs to be to fit in the recess.
the ones on ebay are for different machines and aren’t again the 4mm ones.
some from america cost $12 but $30 for shipping.
does anyone know where to source these from other than crappy service ( none existent ) roland.

try a roland reseller,
such as signmaster systems. or graphityp

ive tried both and no result.
ive been told its very hard to get hold of.
thinking of buying another type and cutting it down .any ideas ?

I just measure my graphtec’s cutting strip, and that is 4mm

James it’s a "cutting pro fc5100-75" I don’t know what width yours is ours is a 760, but I’m sure they will do what ever length you need (Peter is out)

Hi James and Peter, I am also encountering the same problem. I can not find any one who is selling the cutting protection strip in UK, they are mostly form America. Does anyone know where can i buy it? My machines is SP540i btw.

Hey.
I know roland dont have any more, for a fact, as they sent me the very ladst one they had in stock.
however there are strips on ebay which you can get from china.
just make sure you get the right one by measuring the width and depth ofyour strip.

Thanks for the tip. Saw the ebay one and also asking around at the moment. Waiting for reply and hope someone is selling it in UK.

Just measured it, 5mm.
