    After reading another post from Mort and admiring his picture I rememberd some shots of sign’s I had tucked away from a trip a few years ago. beauitiful signs around every corner. this selection was from Conakilty I hope you enjoy.

    The bottom right one looks like a Tommy Tupair one or Eoin Quigley.

    excellent hanging/projecting signs neil. love them mate.
    the bottom right is top notch. 😛 like the circular one also. 😉

    those houses look like the ones in my wee girls tv program BALAMORY. 😆 all differnt colours…

    I think I did a pub tour there maybe at the Cork Meet?
    It’s not that I can’t recall it, it’s just that those town names get jumbled in my head. I think Clonakilty was on the tour tho.
    Funny thing is, except for the pretty-colored houses,
    downtown Butler looks very similar to Cork.
    Maybe it was founded by Irish immigrants?
    I found the town of Cobh quite nice as well.
    The only thing about Ireland that I noticed is that everything seemed to be UPHILL both ways, but the locals say “It’s just a short stretch of the legs”.

    Paul I never had the privelege to meet the bloke, only other people that knew him and the wonderful pictures of the work that he did.
