Hi i was wondering if anyone has come across this problem and what the fix might be its only started to happen recently we print on a mimaki cjv30-130 and we are getting these random dark lines they seem to be on the peaks of the raised vinyl as it come through the printer normally at the beginning of the run before the take up rollers start to pull. is this a commen fault or can it be avoided.

    any tips would be appreciated.

    Thanks Ned 🙂

you might be overcooking the vinyl

the uneveness is due to quick change from cold to hot and if too hot it will cause the vinyl to lift

    drop the temp

All vinyls are different, I have the same machine and mainly run md3 and md5 and they are both different temps, try you settings down to 35 35 and 50
