hi folks, looking for some help or advice,, iam using flexi 7.6 v2,,
iam having problems opening, or importing files in the last few days,
mostly with files that are not in FS format, eg downloads from BOW or this site, now these are not new files, files that i have been using for months with no probs..
ALSO.. when i now download something from say ”brands o the world”
i get a window saying ” Do you want to save this file of find a program online to open it”.. but no files will open
Before this, i used to get the usual OPEN or SAVE window.
i dont seem to be having any problems with anything i have downloaded and then modified, and saved as a FS file,,
Thanks for any advice or help,, thanks in advance..kn.
i see a similar posting here also,,, but i have tried about everything mentioned there.. ok cheers, kn

From Brands of the world you need to save the file first. Then import as an Eps (change the import type to Eps and not to all file types or all readable).

It might be the file type association settings have been lost for FlexiSign. In Vista you need to go to Control Panel, Default Programs, Set Association, find the file types you need to be able to open with FS (i.e EPS, AI, CRD etc.) and then set FS as the default program for this file type.

    Hope that helps.
