problems accessing some of the posts on front page
Posted by Steve Underhill on May 2, 2007 at 7:10 pmIs anyone else having the message come up
"you are trying to access a members only area" when trying to click on any of the demo’s or videos etc that are listed on the front page?
Its not all of them, but a fair chunk of them.

i’m sure rob posted on another forum when a member asked last week, from what i remember he said most of the links on the first page don’t work as they are in the process of being updated/moved whatever.

I’d just better wait till he gets back from sign uk then I spose,
thanks anyway -
Some of the front page links are dodgy. They all appear in the forum index listings as well and usually work OK from there.

I have had that problem from the beginning, Have said about it before ,But still the same. I don’t have any trouble watching other video down loads. lost for an answer.

hi steve
although the demos appear to be on the front page, i assume you have clicked back by about page 3 or 4 of the news features pages on the site?
if this is the case then yes, there is a few news links not working because we updated the demo area a few months back and in doing so, some links became dead. i began going through them all sorting them but missed a few.
however, although there is a few dudd links. every demo available can be accessed if you go directly to the demo forums where the full list can be found.
I apologise for the inconvenience caused but all will be rectified a.s.a.p.
the sites home pages are having an alteration made to them in the way they are listed/shown. when this happens every link will become active again. This should already have been done a month or so ago but because i have had so much work on and sign uk approaching, ive just not had the time. sorry mate….
