    Hi,

A regular customer of mine has asked if we can "make" Tax Disk holders printed with their logos etc.
I was thinking if they wanted a tamper proof (use once) we could print on clear vinyl or if they want a reusable one we could print on clear static cling. (I guess whether clear or white depends on where they want the print visible – inside or out)

We have a VS640 with White ink so printing clear is fine.

Has anyone done anything similar before ? Any recommendations or things to avoid ? or other options?

    Cheers,

    Nick.

I use Sovereign Screen Printers for these, they need to be high frequency welded for a proper job. I don’t think printing to a flat piece of static cling will cut the mustard with your customer unless he/she is a complete tight wad and a fool.

I have done this when asked for a small quantity.

Draw up a circle a couple of cm larger than the paper tax disc then print a very light circle the size of the actual paper bit and cut to a circle. Print and cut a circular bit of vinyl with the logo on and stick on the static with the light line as a guide. Once you have a template for the two you can simply drop in other logos.
