• Printing problem

I have done artwork for a banner to be printed on the Versacamm. Now my problem is this, I have done the artwork in Corel 11 and the artwork is fine, but when convert it to an .eps file it splits itself up into two pages with all of the artwork on page 1 and half of the artwork on page 2. When I call it up in the Roland Rip software it only sees part of page 1 that isnt on page 2. If I delete anything from page 2 it dissapears from page 1 as well.

I am truly baffled by this, and you guys are probably not gonna understand the issue without actually seeing it doing it with your own eyes so I hope someone out there will understand what the hell I am trying to say and know what the problem might be.

Its been a long day so I am off to bed now. 😮

Mike not sure if it is the same problem, but I had a similar problem recently on my Roland.

Turned out I was running out of disk space for the caching that colorrip does.

Deleted all the rip queues and the problem didn’t come back. Also purchased a 200gb, found that helped too. :lol1:

Convert it to a bitmap and then to EPS and the problem should go away (albeit it’s not the solution to your problem , it might be a quick fix)
When you export there are options to export the objects or the page (under the advanced tab in the export dialog box) , see which one you have ticked and try the other.

dont understand about 2 pages but i had for a little while a line of text not transfering – i had a big tidy up of the discs and the problem went – the rip does make very large files – deleteting them and a defrag helps keeps other speeds up to
