    Hi all,

I’ve tried printing onto Hexis white static cling series D7202 with a Versacamm – MD5-100 profile, 720dpi, 8 passes per line, variable dry, headspead 760 with print 40oC dry 45oC, then cut when cold.

The problem I’m having is that sometimes when a sticker is removed from a window a small amount of ink in left behind on the glass. A test sticker I did months ago has left no ink and one I produced a couple of weeks ago has, both on the same window. 😕

I understand that this particular vinyl might not be 100% suitable for eco-sol inks but has anybody had better success with this vinyl/profile/settings or can you recommend a more appropriate static cling vinyl?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. mug shot will appear after hangover has ‘eased’ 🙄

How about reverse printing onto clear, the ink will not come into contact with the glass then.
