  • Printing onto Pint Glasses – advice needed please?

    Can anyone recommend a place which will print onto plastic pint glasses?
    Most places provide the pots but i have a customer whio already has the plastic glasses and wants to get them printed.

    how many are you looking to do and for how long should it last?
    if there isn’t many you could just stick cast vinyl on them if its just a plastic cup throw away promo thing.

    if its glass etched you could do them properly using "etchall" cream. which etches the longo into the glass surface permanent.

    both instances obviously not for high volume. but thought i would mention. 😀

    Think he wants about 500.
    I guess vinyl could be an option. Thanks for the ideas Rob

    there is a film for lasers copiers that will produce water slide decals
    Forever do it I think

    Get all those off-cuts of vinyl out and turn it into money. 😉

    Tims idea would be good too dependant on how intricate the design is.

    This topic couldn’t have been better timed, we have some champagne glasses requiring branding, Forever are sending me out a couple of A4 samples of Waterslide to try today. 😀

    If you can find a screen printer with a ‘pad print’ set up, that will print onto curved surfaces. If its plastic.

    I think for 500 the transfer and etch process would be too long winded, might be a special printing ink for glass though?
