Printing onto Opal Frost
Has anyone printed onto metamark 4 series opal frost with any success?
I have been reverse printing onto clear and then backing with an opaque window film (fitting the clear then the film).
Tried backing with plain white vinyl originally but it left the store fronts quite dark as the prints are quite big, 1220mm high by whatever the width of the window was, but when backed with the opaque film it was letting more light in.
Thought it might give the same effect printed onto opal frost.

Metamark does a digital frost don’t they?
I printed a piece and put it on the shop door.
Looks great from inside when the light shines through, but very dark from the outside.
In answer to your question I’ve not tried your method.
