Sorry mate, but just as I always have to ask, what size?
I don’t (anymore) print with signlab, however, convert to CMYK with photoshop, adjust resolution, resize (not needed in flexi, maybe not in signlab) import, resize, rip and print.
Go for .png(ping) files if poss and you’ll get fabulous results from thermal!

    cheers

    Hi outline,

I would like to print full width of printhead if possible. Just to see what the result is really, its not a customer job, just me finding my way with the new kit.

    Hi,
All i want to do is export from Corel photo paint into sign lab and print image with gerber machine. Just wondering what file format is best to export from corel and also what sort of dpi i should be exporting as bearing in mind that the Gerber is max 300dpi. Its just a small test to see what a photo will turn out like. Say a normal 7×4 photo and blow it up to maximum without having to tile it so maximum height for printing will be 299mm
Hope his is a bit clearer???? 😕

    import image from coral.

    go to options in omega
select your image editor (put this as coral or whatever ur using) this will allow you to edit the image in composser and coral.
u can then import image using file import button etc.

once u have the image ready to print select all then go to set up in composer : device select, print mode, u can now use 600*300 dpi for clearer prints.

you can also hit the 123 icon and change the halftones.
For photos use photowork either, fine or long( fine for veiwing close up, long for veiwing at a distance.

if you play about with these settings you will be able to change lines per inch etc.

Happy playing with your new toy….

Thought V6.1 is the one with the thermal output definitley does edge cause you can choose one in the set up.
Take it in as a jpeg (not the best option png is the best option doesn’t compress and distort the same) or even an eps
When it comes in a black area will cover it put this to the back select both and select clipping (arrange>clipping) drag to the size you want an then print.
This is the simplest way for a quick plot just for a test.
Well I find it easy anyway.
