  • Printhead Strike – Help locating part, please?

    Hi Folks, left the Mimaki CJV30 printing and unfortunately had a head due to a material incorrectly loaded and pushing up against the guides. 👿

    BUT luckily no damage to the printhead :lol1: only the thin metal shroud that surrounds it – held onto the assemble by 3 small screws – attached picture – does anyone know if you can get just this part? (its broken on one corner, printers fine, no head damage, just like to play safe!)

    This is quite common unfortunately. I’ve never seen them for sale individually before but I always save them when I replace faulty heads. I have a couple of heads with electrical (202 construction) errors that have a perfect surface and surround in the office.
